Friendly reception with good information on city and handy to have a nice pub/restaurant attached, also canal walks where nice.
Staff were very helpful, excellent location (close to main bars, shops and nightclubs)
good location and well-equipped rooms, staff very helpful
could be a bit noisy, but you would expect that in a city
The two-bedroom apartment was a bit musty smelling, I think the problem was a couple of old rollaway beds sitting in the hallway. Also the apartment is a good 10-15 minute walk away from the actual hotel- something to consider. It's in Rathmines.
The staff was helpful. The breakfast was good.
The windows and carpets were filthy. The noise from the pub was terrible, especially since the windows needed to be open to cool the room. Smokers were just below on the sidewalk, and so we had their smoke wafting in through our windows. I hate to speak harshly about this hotel because the entire staff was very nice and accommodating. We had been told by others to stay near Temple Bar-ONLY stay in this area if you are a college kid!
Warm welcome and offered on arrival. Free Wifi was a nice addition. Overall a very good hotel and facilities for a decent price.
Some background party noise
There is a nightclub in the basement and it was so loud we were not able to sleep at all. If you say here make sure you are not on the 1st floor.
Fact that bar and food available downstairs
The non-smoking rooms had ashtrays and smelled strongly of cigarettes.
Clean room and good breakfast, and that the pub was open late :-)
The hotel suite was clean comfortable and certainly great value for money. Our stay was during the week so we didn't experience any noise from the night club. Good experience so, would definitely stay in this hotel again.
This is not a complaint. I would suggest; - small teapots in the bedrooms and in the dining room. This would cut down on need to use a new tea bag for 2nd 3rd and 4th cuppa!
The hotel has the best price-benefit ratio in Dublin. It serves a fantastic experience to the customer with its history and convenience. I would choose it if I have a chance to return to Ireland.
The bed was nice.
I didn't like the breakfast. We stayed for a fair price via Booked.net, so we didn't mind. But for full paying guests it is a shame! They gave us a quiet room, but it was without windows!
Excellent staff, good food, excellent service, clean, good location, nothing was too much trouble,24 hour service if required.
I loved the welcome that Brid ("Breej") offered me even before I arrived there, and the care she showed both my friend and I whilst we stayed there. I felt .quite overwhelmed by the authenticity and thoroughness of her care
Having to wait at the side for a table at breakfast until one was vacated
Good location, value, staff and facilities
